Kerala Strikers got a SACHIN

Let us start from what Charu Sharma,CCL anchor said, in the post match presentation between Kerala Strikers and Mumbai Heroes, "Cricket is a team event, isnt it bad to do everything by yourself ??

He just smiled and thanked everyone. That was none other than Rajeev Pillai the hero of Kerala Strikers team. He was instrumental in Kerala Strikers comprehensive ten wicket victory over Mumbai Heores. He played like a professional Criketer through out the innings and made a spectacular 75 runs.

It will be unfair to give the entire credit to him for Kerala Strikers win against Mumbai Heroes. They did a decent spell in bowling and were successful in limiting MH score to 129. Bineesh Kodiyeri's spell stood out from the rest. He took 4 wickets for 18 runs in his 4 over spell. Riding on an explosive 75 off 63 balls by  Rajeev Pillai and ably asisted by Navin Pauly Kerala strikers chased the MH total with ease.
The turnout in Kochi International Stadium was immense and the response from the crowd was scintillating. Cheers and the support the team received was more than what Kochi Tuskers got in their home turf.

Rajeev was the top scorer with 43(33) runs in the nail biting encounter with Chennai Rhinos at Hyderabad on Saturday which Kerala Strikers lost by one wicket. Kerala Strikers batting hopes for the tournament lies on his shoulders and lets hope he will continue doing well. We hope this will turnout as a huge turning point for his acting career as well.
