Vijay To Dance With Prabhu Deva And Akshay Kumar
Ilayathalapathy Vijay is known for his dance moves and his amazing screen presence. So here he does it again, but this time it’s not for his movies. Vijay will be shaking his leg along with Prabhu Deva and Akshay Kumar for Bollywood movie Rowdy Rathore. Prabhu Deva is the director of Rowdy Rathore and who has also done two films with Vijay before. Without any hesitation Vijay noded his head and Prabhu Deva is was very excited about this. And there is also something to be noted, that sources said that Akshay Kumar will be doing the remake of Thuppaki. As he heard the story and got very impressed and bagged the remake rights of the movie. So as of now we can see Parbhu Deva, Vijay and Akshay Kumar in one song. Vijay As An Encounter Specialist In Thuppaki
AR Murgadoss who never reveals anything about his movies before it hits the silver screen and the same happens to his latest film Vijay Starring Thuppaki. On the other hand, if its Ilayathalapathy Vijay then they can't hold it for too long. The latest news about Vijay's character in Thuppaki is that, he will be doing the role of a cop after blockbuster hit "Pokiri". Whereas in Pokiri that was a suspense, but in Thuppaki you will see him in full swing as a encounter specialist. The first schedule of shooting has been completed in Mumbai and second schedule is called off due to the on-strike of FEFSI.
It is for first time that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is teaming up with AR.Murugadoss. The fact that music is done by melody king Harris Jayaraj and cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan makes it even more luring as audio and visual treats are assured. Editing is done by multiple National Award winner A. Sreekar Prasad. Charismatic and bubbly Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead. We couldn't have asked for more, right? Akon's New Chammak Challo for Vijay's Thuppaki?
Is Akon the latest addition to the star studded team of Thuppaki??
Right from the moment when AR.Murgadoss announced the project Thuppaki, expectations are riding high. It is for first time that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is teaming up with AR.Murugadoss. The fact that music is done by melody king Harris Jayaraj and cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan makes it even more luring as audio and visual treats are assured. Editing is done by multiple National Award winner A. Sreekar Prasad. Charismatic and bubbly Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead. We couldn't have asked for more, right?
Sources say that the first look poster of Thuppaki will be released on February 1st. Now the grapevine is that International pop star Akon will be singing a number for Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thuppaki. Akon's Chammak Challo in Ra One was a chart-buster and music directors from Kollywood are hoping he would repeat the magic in tamil as well.
Though there aren't official confirmation about Akon singing for Thuppaki, lets hope it is true and movie turns out into a blockbuster.
So lets wait for the movie to hit the theatres.

Nanban tamil movie released on January 12 and running successfully breaking box office records. Nanban audio already a blockbuster hit. Meanwhile, Nanban in Telugu as 'Snehitudu' is gearing up for release on January 26. Snehitudu audio launched at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad on January 19th, by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Ram Charan Teja jointly. The grand function was attended by Raju Hirani,Vijay, Srikanth, Shankar,Ileana and many other well-known personalities.

All is well for Vijay's Nanban
Ayngaran International : Vijay has a massive fan following in all across India and Bangalore is not an exception. For his latest movie Nanban, the fans of the Kaavalan star have given positive response by watching the Tamil version of 3 Idiots in large numbers in the capital of Karnataka. We hear that on opening day, Nanban witnessed 80% occupancy in most of the theatres. It is said that the film release was celebrated like a festival by his hardcore fans. While the multiplexes witnessed above 70% occupancy, the single screens in most of the parts ran into packed houses. Sources say that Nanban is receiving positive feedbacks from various corners. The collections of the Tamil movie are expected to reach the maximum limit in weekends and as a proof, tickets for the next four days have been sold already.

Nanban Releasing Today
Nanban is a Tamil comedy drama film directed by S. Shankar.The film features an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Ileana D'Cruz, Sathyan and Sathyaraj.The soundtrack and background score is by Harris Jayaraj, working with Shankar for the second time after Anniyan (2005).It is a remake of the 2009 Bollywood blockbuster film 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which was adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. The movie, which is releasing today on January 12, seems to be heading towards breaking records, as the cine-goers have gone berserk over the tickets. Let us wait and watch how the movie turns out to be.

Nanban Movie Review - All Is Well
Nanban Movie Review
It is been long time that we saw such a colourful and energetic movie like this. Thanks to Shankar and his team who have made this wonderful film that is both emotional and entertaining.
Expectations were high for the film for the fact that Shankar and Vijay have come together for the first time for a movie. And, for Shankar this is his next after the mammoth production and blockbuster hit superstar’s ‘Endhiran’! For Vijay, this is his next to the successful ‘Velayudham’!
‘Nanban’ tells the story of three Engineering students who come from different backgrounds with different goal in their lives. Pari (Vijay), Senthil (Jiiva) and Venkatramakrishnan are the three friends who are very close friends in the class. Pari wants to see studies that should be useful to our lives and doesn’t believe in memorizing subjects like what Srivatsan (Satyan), who is the darling of professor Santhanam (Sathyaraj). The three boys incur the wrath of the professor, but as the story goes on the professor slowly realizes the real personalities of the three friends. Pari loves professor’s daughter Riya (Ileana), a medical college student. After their course completion what the boys become in their lives is told later that should be watched on the silver screen.
We see a different Vijay, doing the role Pari. What a performance! It’s really a treat to all Vijay fans. The performance of Jiiva and Srikanth are also extraordinary. The chemistry between these three stars could be seen in every scene they are together.
Another big performance is from veteran actor Satyaraj. He, as Professor Virumandi Santhanam, has lived the role. And, for Satyan, this is the best film that he can boast in his career.
Ileana as the love interest of Vijay is cute and attractive. Her acting and dance movements in the film will definitely bring big offers and she would do a big round in Kollywood! S J Suryah and Anuya Bhagawat have done cameo appearances.
Shankar does not have any introduction to the hard work he puts in his films. He has proved it in many of his films. And, ‘Nanban’ is another milestone movie in his list of big films but differently, for ‘Nanban’ being totally an emotional drama with visuals that is a whole riot of colours! Every frame of the film speaks Shankar’s hard work and creative brain. Hats off, Shankar!
‘Nanban’ is a Tamil remake of 2009 Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’. The title roles in Hindi were played by Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. Kareena Kapoor’s role is played by Ileana in ‘Nanban’. Sathyaraj excels the professor role that Boman Irani had in ‘3 Idiots’.
Original story was adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Five Point Someone’. The screenplay for ‘Nanban’ is written by Shankar and Madhan Karky.
Music is by Harris Jayaraj. The Shankar - Harris Jayaraj duo had created a magic earlier with their film ‘Anniyan’. The same magic has been created with ‘Nanban’ too. The songs are already a rage with youngsters and music lovers and topping the charts. The background score too adds strength to the script.
Manoj Paramahamsa has done the camera work, a big plus to ‘Nanban’. The lens man has taken his camerawork to next level. Editing by Anthony is also worth mentioning.
‘Nanban’ is produced by Gemini Film Circuit in a whopping budget of Rs.60 Crore. The film is also dubbed in Telugu with a title ‘3 Rascals’.
‘Nanban’ is definitely a big treat for both Shankar and Vijay fans, and a wholesome entertainment for everyone who loves good cinema!
‘Nanban’ is a film that is sure a watchable. A must watch!

Nanban Advance Booking: Fans Go Berserk Over Tickets !
Vijay's " Nanban ", the first big Tamil release of 2012, has driven the audience crazy. The forthcoming movie, which is releasing on January 12, seems to be heading towards breaking records, as the cine-goers have gone berserk over the tickets. The advance booking for Nanban was started on Sunday (Jan 08) in most of the theatres in Chennai. In the city, the movie is hitting the screens on 27 cinema halls and the fans of Vijay have given a massive response for the pre-release reservation by turning up in large numbers. As per the traders, the tickets of Nanban for four days have been sold. The ticket counters issued 'booking closed' display within a few hours of advance booking was started.

" Ilayathalapathy Vijay" Looks Promising In 2012
The year 2012 looks promising for Vijay. For a change, the Kaavalan star preferred noted filmmakers to young directors. As a result, the actor has three movies, which are directed by the best names of the Kollywood, in the current year. Here, we are trying to give a glimpse of his forthcoming movies.
NANBAN :
First on the list is Nanban directed by ace filmmaker Shankar. The movie, which is releasing next Thursday ( January 12th ), has generated a lot of curiosity from the day it hit the floors. The multi-starrer film is a youthful entertainer, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots. The Tamil film shows him in a college student avatar and he is all set to impress the audience with his comedy-filled movie.
THUPAKKI :
Thupakki, as the title says, is an out-and-out action drama. The movie made by AR Murugadoss has attracted the mass audience, as the action genre is tailor-made for Vijay. The movie tells the tale of an ordinary man's journey to Mumbai, where he sees himself as a don to rule the underworld. The movie, which also features Kajal Aggarwal, has started the shooting and expected to hit the screens in mid-2012.
YOHAN: ADHYAYAM ONDRU:
Vijay is playing a contrasting character to his above mentioned other roles in Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru. The Ilayathalapathy will be enacting the character of an undercover agent in the action-thriller directed by Gautham Menon. The major part of the shooting will be shot in abroad and the regular shoots are expected to kick-start in late-2012. The movie has AR Rahman's music and some of the best Hollywood technicians will work in this project.
